EC overload?
Answered

I'm debating whether I should join my school's robotics team. I'm really interested in learning more about electrical engineering, but the thing is I'm also joining track & cross country which I enjoy and am pretty good at. I also develop android apps on the side for elementary students, I got one promoted by my school district and was a quarter-finalist in an international app competition. Not much of an accomplishment but I'm entering the 10th grade and I'm debating whether I should add on one more EC (robotics team) because I'm worried it will interfere with running and my app development.

i think you should try it! maybe explain to the robotics sponsor that you do have these other responsibilities. they may be able to delegate less work to you, so you can still do what you love without getting unnecessarily stressed out. just don’t start extra curriculars solely bc it’ll look good to colleges. you’ll burn out, and won’t be able to put your all in. keep feeding your passions!!
