Will taking dual college credit courses increase improve my application?

I am currently a sophomore in a small private all-girls school.

from what i know, colleges look at dual enrollment courses similarly as they do honors courses. so they're generally good to have, but they're not a huge huge boost or anything like that. AP courses actually provide a bigger improvement overall, but really depend on what your school offers and what kind of workload you feel like you can manage.

It will likely prove that you can handle college-level coursework, but it won't ultimately assure admission by itself.
