Admissions Advice

When should I start applying?
Answered

I'll be starting my senior year soon and I'm graduating June 2022 so I was wondering when would be the best time to apply to receive feedback in time to prepare for fall 2022?

I found this article very helpful in understanding the 4 different types of college deadlines.

Yet, you need to consult each college website, and typically, they have admissions officers for your state that you can reach out for introduction and information.

Good luck

Hey! I am also a senior and you can start applying now since CommonApp are opens. It is a good idea to apply early action because you would have a more consideration for scholarships and etc. Some early actions deadlines might be in October or November but I would check out the colleges you are interest in applying to so you can find more information about their deadlines. Good luck and I hope this helps!

I'll also be a senior graduating this school year! From what I've heard, Late October/early November is best, but make sure to check out the deadlines for all of the colleges you plan on applying to.

Hey! I'm graduating next year too!

I think you should apply in the early action deadline of your preferred college if you have your test scores, extracurriculars, LORs, and essays ready, or feel that you'll be ready with them by October/November. Applying in early action in certain colleges means that you'll have a slight advantage in admission, scholarships and possible financial aid.

If you aren't ready with everything yet, no sweat, apply in the regular decision cohort, which is usually in January.

Hope this helps!
