I am in the process of making an HS resume for a summer job post-COVID and I don't know how can I list a recommendation.
Also if I am applying to jobs like sonic tacobell do I need a cover letter?
A lot of places like that have an application on their website, fill that out and make a resume. Cover letters are great but if you fill out an application, you usually don't need one for a summer job. As far as recommendations, if you worked for that person/organization in the past, list your work with them in your resume. Most applications will ask for references, so put the person/organization's contact information there.
Hi! Usually, you will have a recommendation sent to the employer along with your resume and cover letter. It often is not listed explicitly in the resume. If you're applying to jobs within any industry you will usually need a cover letter so that way the employer understands why you're interested in the job and how you can contribute. Make one just in case-- I am sure they will need it! If you need any help with making high school resumes, look up high school resume formats to understand what to include. Good luck, you got this!
