You can try to take a couple AP classes if your school offers it and take plenty of honors classes for next school year. That should bring up your gpa quite a lot if you keep good grades in those classes.

If your school uses a credit system, taking classes with maximum credits will help. Those are often STEM classes. You also have to do very well in those classes of course. It's also worth considering weighted GPA, if your unweighted GPA is unfixable, you may be able to boost you weighted GPA by taking higher level (Honors/AP) classes. Again the most important part is to not do poorly in any classes, so don't take any difficult classes that you aren't ready for, and never let your pride stop you from dropping to a lower level if your grades are poor.
