I'm now a student in class 10.
I need a sat fee waiver.
but
the fee waiver is available in 11 and 12 grades. but I'm now a 10th grader
I'm an international student and the fee waiver must be us, citizen. I research about psat but the psat is not an alternative to the sat exam.
there is no fee waiver for me about sat or act. what can I do if it's not possible for me
You are out of luck @sanjida and I'm sorry I'm not wealthy because I'd be happy to pay for your test if I could.
I hope by 11th grade you can save some money to take the exam or may convince a rich uncle to gift it for you.
Happy holidays!
First of all, it seems as if SAT fee waivers are only available to citizens of the US.
Also, PSAT's are what are known as "preliminary" SAT's, more like a practice to get used to the way that they organize the test and ask questions.
Lots of schools now are test optional, so if you cannot afford to take a test you can just leave them out of your application.
Nevertheless, reach out to your school counselor and ask if you can get an SAT or ACT fee waiver.
Good luck!
