I am applying for TASS for the summer of 2022 and this year TASP have been cancelled and there will only be TASS both for sophomores and juniors. Will this new TASS be regarded as highly as TASP during college admissions?
Hi @miranavi! TASS sounds like a great program and the specific programs within TASS, like TASS-CBS and TASS-AOS, sound really interesting! I believe TASS will still be regarded highly during the college admissions process because both TASS and TASP have been combined into TASS. Additionally, it seems that TASS-CBS and TASS-AOS will have separate programs for sophomores and juniors.
Summer programs that are completely free always look great on applications because they are much more prestigious than programs you have to pay for.
Hope that helps!
TASS is a prestigious program, most programs that are free typically are. However, TASS isn't regarded as highly as TASP. TASP is a more prestigious program, therefore, more heavily regarded. It's like Ivy Colleges. Are other colleges prestigious and great? Yes. Is it more heavily regarded than the Ivy Leagues? More often than not, no.

TASS is exactly the same thing program under a new acronym. It will be equally selective and prestigious.
