Extracurricular Question
Answered

Hello, I would like to ask if I preach about Jesus on Instagram, like doing live streams. Would that count as an extracurricular on its own, and would it be under the category of own-initiative.

I'm not fully educated on subjects like this, but if these live streams are a genuine passion of yours and define a part of you, then definitely put it on your application. I would say it's more of a social media presence kind of thing, so whatever category you would put "YouTube channel" under would be my guess.

Hope this helps. Best of luck!

I might put it on your application if you have a large number of followers/views, if you spend a significant time deciding what to say in these posts, or if you are applying to a Christian school. Just think about relevancy and significance in comparison to your other activities. Perhaps to make it more impressive, you could fund raise during your live streams. (I think that is under the category of own-initiative, not 100% sure)

Wishing you success!
