Are there any good external scholarships that are worth applying for?

Hi! I am a rising Senior from Florida.

Please list scholarship amount and deadline if possible.

So scholarship owl is a pretty good resource but it is a bit clunky. I’d recommend looking to organizations in your community like a place of worship that you participate in if you have a job they may have something. There is also niche which has a monthly drawing which is something. You can also search scholarships for insert minority/women in stem/veteran dependent/city/extra circular (robotics often have 3rd party scholarships among other activities).

As a rule I’d say never pay money to apply for a scholarship or contest to win money. Also make sure they are reputable if you find them via google.

It depends on what kinds of activities you're in and your financial status. I would check College Board scholarship search. You can type in information about yourself and it finds scholarships that match, I've used it before and it was pretty helpful
