Created an email address specifically for college search/application process, and would like to enter it on CV but the box is greyed out. Is there any way to change it w/o recreating my profile??

Email support@collegevine.com and he should be able to fix it. And the persons name is Griffith. And he managed to fix some of my issues so he should resolve it. Also the email is really only used for notifications about Q&A you could have 2 account the school email to browse your chancing and a email just for Q&A notifications as collegevine does not sell emails to prospective colleges/universities
