My class rank is currently 57 out of 391. However, a lot of my friends are in the top 10. Will this affect my chances of admission into ivies. (I'm only a freshman so I still have time to bring it up)
Yes, absolutely will affect your chances. One of the common Harvard interview questions is: "What is your class ranking?"
All Ivy League colleges with the exception of Harvard consider HS rank either "Important" or "Very Important" in their application review. This would include Barnard College as well.
Since 85% (Cornell) -95% (Yale) admits are in the top 10% of their class, you will improve your chances if you can move your rank from 57 to 39th or better.
Good luck.
