Hey, @crsgo0422. I've had excellent memory since elementary school. here are my tips: for definitions, repetition with your eyes closed helps greatly. Try to associate the fact or definition with a picture in your mind so that it is easier to recall. Sometimes, if the definition is hard or long, I'll write it down. Literally, copy it over and over again on a paper and that will help it stick. For words and short facts, use flashcards! You can make them or go online and use websites like Quizlet, which is awesome for flashcards. Also, make up stories. This is my biggest piece of advice. You have to be able to connect the information in a way that is relative to you. If the book is telling you something and it's not sticking, forget about it. YOU have to be able to address it in a way that appeals to you. Tie it to something you know. These tactics have worked for me since forever. I hope they help. Enjoy!
