Is there a way I can better my chance to get into American University?
My school offers either AP or honors of a specific class, but you cant take both. I've taken 2 AP's and 3 honors classes throughout high school, including this year which is my junior year. I was wondering if I were to take like 3 or 4 AP's next year would that boost my chances more? I have 6 or 7 extracurricular's and 2 internships and I don't know if that's good or not, or if I need more a more competitive portfolio.

The more AP classes the better, as long as you can do it without dropping your GPA. Your ECs and your internships should help you a lot too, that sounds like a lot to handle!
