I need Extracurricular help especially if its womens' rights related

Hi so I'm applying to pretty prestigious schools and i would like to expand my extracurriculars in therms of things i can do not really school clubs. My main passion has to do with supporting womens' rights? Any help, because i have heard that a lot of ivy league applicants have national awards and such under their belts, and in Nigeria, where i come from there's not a lot of opportunity for national awards going on.

I would get involved in community organizations. If there aren't any community organizations then I would encourage you, and a few others, to start one! It can be something basic; such as supplying feminine products to certain groups, but it would look amazing on applications!

The thing to remember about schools like the Ivies is that they try to take into account your circumstances and what's available to you as a high school student. So when you see things like national awards or recognitions, if that kind of thing isn't available to you, they won't necessarily expect it. Something like forming your own organization and performing activism or leading some kind of drive would be a fantastic activity for you to pursue, especially if it ties into something you're passionate about.
