Extracurriculars for Psychology?
Answered

I'm a rising junior and I intend to become a adolescent and young adult therapist. What extracurriculars can I do to learn more about mental health and promote myself to universities?

Psychology club is something you can be in and start, HOSA if there’s something psych related idk much about it, helping out in ur school counseling office if you are allowed to, or volunteering to be a mental health advocate are some ways!! Hope this helps. Make sure to participate in things that you love and are interested in, that is what colleges want to see

You could intern with a psychologist and ask to work shadow her. You can also start a little thing to give mental health advice to your schoolmates, could be a social media page even
