Biology is mandatory. My school gives us the option between Chemistry and Physics. I don’t know which to choose. I want to be a biostatistician (If I don’t stay with this career it’s definitely going to be a career that’s heavy in Math or Biology). I was going to choose Physics because I know it as the branch between Math and Science but I really don’t like geometry. I thought maybe Chemistry, but I have a hard time Memoizing thinks and I need to memoize the periodic table. There’s also a chance I may be in the AP program and I’m 60% sure I would be able to get tutoring for many of those subjects. Any Idea on what I should choose ?
Hi @MariaSare. [My recommendation is to take chemistry. My school's mandatory order for science is Biology, Chemistry, and Physics. You should continue to choose a higher level course for each of the subjects throughout the years. It will make you more competitive for college admission. I will take AP Chemistry, AP Physics, and AP Biology over the past four years. That's because the number of AP courses really impacts your college admission. It shows your passion for rigor and high academic goals.
Moreover, Chemistry is a necessary prerequisite for AP Biology as many of my teachers explained AP Biology needs a good amount of Chemistry knowledge. So choosing Chemistry with Biology can be a good complementary option.]

[Also, since my High School only has a very limited amount of AP courses, I really need to take them all. However, even If your high school offers a sufficient amount of AP courses, I still encourage you to choose AP-Bio/Chem/Physics for reasons I explained above.
Finally, I recommend the occupation of biotechnicians (Requires Biology skills + CS skills) because it has a much higher average salary and market demands over the next 20 years. This is because computer science will remain popular in the future. If you are interested in Biology and Math, I recommend taking some Computer Science courses as well. If your school does not offer them, that is fine; you can still choose the major and they will teach you everything you need to know.]
I hope this helps! :)
Probably chemistry. It plays a big role in biology, and it is likely a necessity to have a background in it if you want to go into the biology field. If you want to do something math-related, just keep taking the hardest math classes you can, and physics is not really important for it unless you want to be a physicist.
Chemistry was a struggle to pass for me, physics was so easy in comparison. I've taken a science all 4 yrs of high school and I'd say to save the easiest for last, do chem then physics next year if you can. it'll be a relief to have something easy.

I meant the future four years, sorry for the mistype.
