what does the college of human ecology at cornell specifically look for in a student?
Answered

hi, i’m a rising junior and am looking to apply ed1 to cornell in my senior year. i am interested in the human biology, health, and society major (hbhs) at cornell, and am just curious about what type of student will thrive at that school. personally, i want to go on the premed track as well - hoping to become a dermatologist - so learning about the social dynamics of healthcare is really important to me. thank you!

A study who is interested in STEM and the social sciences will enjoy HBHS. You will want to demonstrate academic competency in both fields through your classes, extracurriculars, and essays. Having a specific dream in mind to make healthcare more equitable will also make you stand out. Hope this helps!
