I am from Sierra Leone,a BA holder in History and Sociology. I graduated with division one from the university of Sierra Leone,Fourah Bay College the Athens of west Africa. I did my junior education at a public school here in Sierra Leone, Saint Joseph Secondary School. I have this burning desire to further my education and my choice is Harvard.
This platform is specifically for students applying to undergraduate programs, so just keep in mind that any info here won't be applicable to Harvard's graduate programs. Graduate programs base their admissions on your personal statement, strength of undergraduate transcript (especially in the courses relevant to the graduate degree you want to pursue), recommendation letters, and your extracurriculars. If you already have a BA and are finished with college, then you won't be able to change your transcript anymore, so the best thing to do would be to write the best personal statement you can, get strong recommendation letters, and do relevant extracurriculars at as high a level as possible. If you wanted to be accepted to a Harvard graduate program in Education, for example, it would be a good idea to get some teaching experience, like through tutoring, or working with an education non-profit. Hope this helps!
Yes I am planning to apply and I am interested in Masters program
