Admissions Advice

What are some science/ STEM extracurriculars I can follow if I'm not competitive?

I'm a rising sophomore and I've always been pretty sure that I want to major in a biology-related field, but I'm having trouble exploring/discovering extracurriculars I can do. My mental health/ general health right now doesn't really allow me to participate in competitions right now and my school doesn't have science teams, either. I'm trying to aim for a selective college but I'm not sure how to start or where to find resources :(

Tutoring STEM to other high schoolers/middle schoolers. You can do it for free and mark it as community service or get paid and mark it as employment.

Try writing a science blog/podcast/YT channel about biology. Also there might be a discussion club in the sciences and you don’t have to compete

Hope this helps!
