I’m going into my senior year and will apply as a CS major in the fall. Due to some schedule conflict, I have only two choices with following:
AP Physics and a regular English class
OR
AP Lit and Intro to physics with Earth Space Science and no AP Gov.
The problem with the second choice is I don’t know how lenient colleges will be with what is a physics course or not and if they can take Intro to Physics with Earth Space Science as the physics class.
I would say AP Physics cause its more math based and CS admissions like to see you do well in math so do physics but tbh do what you are interested in and if you can take ap computer science principles or ap computer science A.
I’d always recommend taking classes that are similar to your major, in this case AP Physics is closer than AP Lit. This shows you can handle that type of work which will look good to colleges. Just take what you enjoy more though, your grade will probably reflect it.
