What class should I take?
Answered

I am currently about to go into my junior year of high school and have to choose between two important classes. Right now, I am scheduled to be in Regular Chemistry when I wanted to be in Honors but that is not possible due to scheduling conflicts with my Honors Spanish 3 class. Since Honors Spanish 3 is not required, I was thinking about dropping Spanish to get Honors Chemistry which would give me another study hall and the chance at a higher level chemistry class. Also, the teacher that teaches Spanish is known to be one of everyone's least favorite teachers but the class isn't too bad. I talked with my guidance counselor and she recommended to stay in Spanish because it looks better with colleges but I plan to take AP Chemistry (had to take reg/honors chemistry first) and did not know whether or not it would hurt me during AP Chemistry. What should I do?

my school doesn't offer honor chemistry, only regular/AP and my friends seems to do well in AP after a year of regular chemistry so you shouldn't need worry too much.

However, I think it also goes back to what college major you want to major in in the future. If you're planning on majoring in chemistry or other STEM relative field, I think it would be better for you to take the honor chemistry instead of honor spanish
