U of Houston ApplyTexas Essay

I was filling out the ApplyTexas application for the University of Houston, but when I went to paste my essay, it only had the option for prompt C. I wrote my essay using prompt A. Does University of Houston only allow to use prompt C? Is there a way to use my already-written essay prompt A or do I have to write another essay for prompt C?

Did you see whether the essay was required or optional? I'm not sure about ApplyTexas, but University of Houston was essay-optional last year on Common App.

One thing you can try is using the Common App instead of ApplyTexas. Common App has more prompts and your essay will definitely fit one.

The U of H website asks for Essay A, so I don't know what's wrong with ApplyTexas's website.

Hope this helps!
