Does my halt in academic performances affect my application?
Answered

In October 2019, due to a road accident, I had to go through a surgery and follow-up treatments, which took me months to fully recover. Concerned about my health and my ability to fulfill academic requirements at school, my family decided that I should take a year off. As a result, I had no transcript or academic record for the 2019-2020 school year. Does this affect the results of my application?

Absolutely not. Be sure when asked you’re not ashamed, very transparent and most importantly how it effected your mental health what you did to overcome it and how’s it’s made you the person before them today.
