Advice

So I'm trying to give advice to my cousin who's a freshman next school year. I hear that you shouldn't overload yourself like for example do 3 AP classes a year and do like 8-9 Extra Circular Activities just for the sake of doing them is this true. Instead focus on a few high commitemnt ones.

Hi @Swayam_Jain17!

That's right, you should have a few activities in which you're really interested as well as invested. That's better than having 10 activities in which you're just a member of a club with no contribution.

As for the AP classes, how many would be an overload depends on your cousin's abilities.

Hope this helps!

yes, it is more valuable to your application to have less extracurriculars but you have a leadership roll/ high commitment!
