Submitting New Honor/Activity After DeadlineAnswered
Hello. I recently had an additional leadership activity at my school that is related to Duke Basketball. I planned on discussing this activity in my interview, but since I submitted my Duke application after the priority deadline, I am beginning to suspect that I will not get an interview. When will I know whether or not I have received an interview? Would it be better to write an additional letter explaining the activity now and upload it to my application, or should I wait until I know about the interview?

You would have heard back by now if you were selected for an interview. It would be best to add information about your activity to your application if possible. Common App does not allow you to edit your application after submission, so you may have to update Duke by writing a letter of continued interest after a deferral or waitlist offer. Hope this helps!
