The best way is to apply for financial aid. It is possible for transfer students to receive generous merit aid awards which can pair with federal aid to create a full-ride aid package.

If you do not receive the full-ride you are hoping for in your initial aid package, get in touch with your school's financial aid office to make an appeal. Your appeal may convince your school to offer you more aid, especially if your previous school offered you a more generous package.

Hope this helps!
