What type of EC section and rank would this be considered?

I agree about classifying this activity as an honor. Since it is at the international level, I would classify it as a Tier 2 honor if you were simply nominated for the role. If you were selected after a competitive application process with less than a 10% acceptance rate, it would be Tier 1. Hope this helps!
Hi, I think that you'd do better listing this as an honor rather than an EC. If it's a one time thing it doesn't really count as an EC, but on the off chance your apart of your schools debate team and you got this opportunity through that, than I'd say list it as a Tier 3a.
If you got this opportunity from something not debate team/club related than, something else speech related, or anything you did to work your way up to getting the opportunity that it wouldn't be considered an EC.

Just to clarify, this was a result of me being the Co Chief Blogging Officer (for the American branch) for a international nonprofit. How would that affect it's Tier as an honor?
