Admissions Advice

CMAS

So I’m taking the CMAS 11 in a couple of weeks but I wanted to opt out since I felt it was kinda pointless. My parents wouldn’t sign the letter to opt me out. Is it really that important to take for college admission and stuff

Hi @Swayam_Jain17!

CMAS is really specific to Colorado, so I don't think many colleges outside Colorado would be picky about you not taking it. In fact, this is the first time I'm hearing about it (Had to google it to know what you're talking about). However, if you think you are well-prepared for it, you should take it. It'll give AOs an additional thing to consider in your application.

Hope this helps!
