Where can I find good STEM internships/summer programs?

I'm always looking to apply to good STEM internships or summer programs for high school students, but most of them cost over $3,000 and I don't have the money to pay for something like that. Does anyone know of any programs/internships that are free or don't cost that much?

So a very big company (Fortune 500) in my city hosts internships a company in your city may have one as well. Also if there are any on the low end of 3k you can email the program and ask about finicial aid. I mention this as it seemed you implied 3k was too much and less was an option. Sorry if I’m wrong.

On a personal note I attended a program with a well known university and got a full ride scholarship granted the cost granted the cost was not even 500 but my point was aid exists.

This is a resource I found for internships as a whole and is worth checking out https://www.bostontechmom.com/best-websites-for-finding-stem-high-school-internships/

Hope this helps and comment if you need clarification.
