Weighted GPA conversion question
Answered

My high school does not count honors classes in the weighted GPA. In my freshman year, I took many, many honors classes, so I was wondering if this would decrease my chances in getting into top colleges, as my weighted GPA would be +0.2 higher if they were included.

Most colleges will recalculate your GPA in their own way or format since not all high schools use the same GPA scale so the score that your high school releases will probably not affect your chances.

"Although most high schools provide colleges with your unweighted or weighted GPA, universities often recalculate it. Colleges do this to create an even playing field for all applicants since there’s no universal high school grading scale."
