When should I take the SAT if I want to get admission by December 2020? Are two months enough for its preparation?
When should I take the TOEFL? Will a month after the SAT be alright?
The very last test dates you should register for are the 10-9/10-10 ACT or 11/7 SAT if you want to apply to colleges in December 2020. Same with the TOEFL. If you have not taken either the ACT/SAT/TOEFL you want to make sure that the 1st time you take the test is your last opportunity to take the test prior to applying to college. You have to allow for 2 weeks after you take the tests to get your score back. 2 months might be enough for a straight-A student who already scored 1450-1520 on the PSAT as a HS Junior 11th grader but it really depends on what your score expectations are. If you take a practice test and get an 1150 and are content with the score, then you have nothing to worry about. If you are trying to get a 1500+ and have a sub-1300 practice test, well then 2 months will be a mad rush and you might not get there even if you spend 20 hours a week for 8 weeks and take 8-10 more practice tests. Try to take the tests in Sept/Oct so if you need to re-take them, you have 1 more chance to get your score up, otherwise, you will apply to colleges without certainty what your scores are.
