If you’re adopted, is it true you have a full ride scholarship to any college you want?
Answered

I’m adopted and my mom said that since I’m adopted I have a full ride scholarship to any college I want but that doesn’t sound right to me. I’ve googled and some say you can only use that in the state you were born in and others say I can use it anywhere.

Yes and no. Each state has its own rules and guidelines. Some states only let you apply and attend state schools and other states cap the total number of students allowed under the program. Here is the most comprehensive document I have found that covers all states in the US. Its a link to a PDF doc which is 8 pages long. Good luck.
