Admissions Advice

As an H-4 dependent visa holder, what all scholarships or financial aid do I qualify for?

I am a freshman in high school. My family and I moved from Dubai (We are Indians) in 2022. My dad works on an H1-B visa and I am an H-4 dependent. I have read on multiple online sources that my visa does not qualify for most scholarships or financial aid. But, I have heard I could earn them at Ivy Leagues, which are honestly a hard reach for me. Are there any other colleges that work provide me with aids or scholarships that are not Ivy Leagues? Does it have to be a private college/university?

As an H-4 dependent, your scholarship options in the U.S. aren't limited to Ivy League universities. Many state-funded universities, private colleges, and community colleges offer scholarships to international students, including H-4 dependents. These scholarships can be merit-based or specific to your country or region. Thank you! I appreciate it! So I am still going to be considered an international student?
