I’m an international student, does chancing calculator apply to me as well?

In addition, the calculator says my gpa, courseworks and extracurricular are excellent for UCI, but why is my chance only 32-40%? In contrast, when I tried with Cal state it said my chance was 92%

The chancing calculator was built for domestic applicants and the chancing is decent for intl students (heard 2nd hand) but for very selective schools such as sub 25% acceptance rate it can be wonky but this is the best one anywhere online.

UCIs admit rate is 29% and it’s Intl admit rate is possibly half that (I don’t know) but it’s definitely lower than 30%. Also Irvine as a Very good California public school attracts a lot of E Asian and Indian applicants and as schools strive for geographic diversity your country may be even lower (heavily likely) than the average. As for chancing eh I can’t really explain it. At a school with if I remember correctly 30% admit rate (forgot the name of it) I had all excellent
