Hi! My school offers only AP art and design in the art-related areas (I think) and I want to take all APs related to art (AP drawing, AP 3d art, but most likely AP drawing). I already have technical skills for AP (the art teacher in my school approved), and I want to self-study. The counseler already approved that I can take AP drawing after I fulfill requirements(until art 4, I'm in art 3 right now).
Can I self-study AP drawing??
Of course you can. There are videos on YouTube and resources online and third party resources that can help you prepare for AP drawing. I do recommend working with your art teacher and counselor along the way to make sure that you are on track.

for AP drawing, do I just submit portfolios at the end of the year?
