Admissions Advice

Is being a newspaper staff good?

I am already art commissioner, NAHS (art honor society) historian, and got a national award. Do you think being part of art department in newspaper staff in school is good for college?

If it has some connection to your major then go for it. Or if art is something you are really passionate about but do not want to pursue it in college still go for it. Usually admissions officers want to see that you are spending your time doing ECs that are meaningful to you and have some connection to what you want to study.
