Admissions Advice

What should I do if I have a drop in grades my first semester senior year and my ED college gets my mid-year report.

I’m enrolled in a top public college in Virginia through ED. Starting senior year I have 3 C’s in my, AP courseload, transcript for semester 1.( I only have 5 classes due to taking a half day trade class but I don’t have a C in that class. This is mostly due to overworking in my part-time to make hours for a scholarship they offer. I’m thinking of emailing the schools regional dean about my drop of grades due to my part-time and explaining a plan to balance everything. But should I email since it’s only midterm grades. And if I should email what should make sure to add/ what’s most likely gonnna be their response?
