AP scores

Hi

I am intending to apply as a History major and applying to the Ivy Leagues

I see that Yale has a test flexible test policy (they allow you to submit AP test scores in lieu of SAT/ACT)

I received a (sophomore)

4 in AP Seminar

4 in AP World

I am wondering if not getting a 5 will put me at a disadvantage because I am applying as a History major

Any thoughts? Thanks

It shouldn't put you at a disadvantage. Taking those classes is the right step towards getting into that school. When applying as a history major remember how well you do in those classes will matter more than anything. A 5 may not get your credit towards a class but It will prove that you can do the work. I hope my answer helps!
