What are my chances of getting into UCLA and UCB
Answered

Hello, my UC gpa unweighted is a 3.89 and my weighted is a 4.79. Some of my extracurricular’s include writing and publishing a book, starting an organization, class president for two years, helped pass a 40 million dollar ruling for my school district, opened a medical school club that volunteered and did some research, around 200 hours of community service, and doing research and making research papers based off of them, along with a few other extracurriculars. Ive taken 49 classes throughout my 10-11th grade year, most being either AP or dual enrollment. My top school choices are UCLA or UCB. I was wondering if these are good chances or not, solely because my cumulative GPA is low.

I think that your GPA is very high considering UC schools usually only look at 10-12 grade grades to see what kind of student you are most recently. Your extracurriculars are very impressive and would compare easily to a student as UCLA or UCB. I think you have a nice chance at those schools and you might as well apply and put effort in your application and you have a solid chance of getting in! Good Luck!
