Admissions Advice

Is my schedule for my Junior year competitive enough?
Answered

I'm currently going into my Junior year and was wondering if my classes would look good to admissions (assuming I pass with good grades, of course). I am also taking classes at a local community college, but these are just my high school classes

Schedule:

AP Spanish Lang

AP English Lang

Physics (planning on switching to AP ES or AP Bio)

US History Honors (Spanish)

Mural Art Honors (Spanish)

Pathology & Bioengineering Honors

Drawing & Painting

Math 3

I think these classes would be competitive for most if not all schools. It's important to take a look at the list of required courses for each college you want to apply to. If you are on route to complete the necessary classes with some extra I think you are all set. The other thing to consider is colleges want to see your senior year be as rigorous (if not more) than your past high school years. Your senior year may not be as important for the application process but make sure it is comparable with your junior year.
