How to go to college in California as an American living abroad?
Answered

Hey! So I want to go to a California state school, however from what I have seen online, since I am not physically living in California, but in Europe, I would not be able to have residency tuition prices. I cannot afford international tuition. Is there any other way besides taking a gap year to get in state tuition?

You might be able to get scholarships or grants to cover your education, but unless you live in California you're not going to get in-state tuition. Talk to a guidance counselor and admissions officers for the college you're thinking about to set up a plan.
