Admissions Advice

CollegeVine's new AI recruiters
Answered

I'm a little skeptical as to how the AI algorithm works. I've lately received a few AI recruiters on this site and they say things like "your ECs and academics are really good" or something along those lines. Do these AIs really connect to the admission team in those colleges? How do I know if it isn't just something to make me spend admission fees to that university?

These connections don't seem like they connect you with real admissions officers. It's better to directly connect with an admissions counselor from a school through a school's website and the contact info listed on that website. I haven't used the connections because i am not interested in any of those schools.

But yes, often they sound like all the emails my mailbox gets flooded with..."you have great potential" "you would be the perfect fit here" and so on.
