Admissions Advice

College major
Answered

Hi, I am a rising senior and intend to apply as a business major for college. However, my math grades don’t look pretty great. Except for 9th grade both 10th and 11th are in Bs. My college counselor advised me to change major. But the thing is most of my extracurricular activities are related to business. For example, I did an internship at a well known real estate company this summer. My SAT math isn’t above 680 too. So what shall I do? Please help me asap. I am really confused as I am an international student seeking for full ride scholarships.

A 680 math already puts you in the ~94th percentile, so that should be pretty good for you. As long as most of your other grades are As, you should be just fine. Business isn't a math-heavy field so you should be well prepared.
