Should I put MIT WISE on college application?
Answered

I recently applied and was accepted to MIT's Weekend Immersion in Science and Engineering (WISE) program, which basically flies ~100 people out to tour labs and lectures at MIT for a weekend. MIT doesn't share the acceptance rate, but I've been told it's pretty selective. Should I put this on applications? If yes, does this count as an honor or EC? I've seen some people say that schools other than MIT wouldn't care and might even be offended if I included it and that's the last thing I want. I've never been selected for anything remotely like this, so I'm a little lost LOL.

If I were you I would, MIT is well respected. It looks good that you are involved with them!

Yes, it would help if you listed this as an extracurricular. Colleges like to see that you're pursuing your academic passions beyond the classroom and this sounds like a pretty prestigious opportunity.
