So, I'm very indecisive. I am interested in so many things and it's nearly impossible for me to choose what I want to be. For the past few months I've been set on double majoring in Psych and Educational Theater and becoming a Children's Therapist while also working on children's theater. However, recently, I've found myself becoming more interested in being a lawyer. (ngl blame the reddit stories) Could I do all three at once? Like, could I be working as a therapist and also being a lawyer at the same time? Would the workload be too much? I can handle a lot, I don't need much sleep, but I do a lot of things--writing, theater, and when I'm an adult, I want to keep doing these things along with whatever job I end up pursuing.
TL;DR--when I'm an adult, could I be working as a lawyer and a therapist at the same time while also pursuing hobbies such as writing and children's theater? Like having two of the most taxing full-time jobs lol
Being a children's therapist would be a very rewarding career you would truly affect someone for the rest of their life. Many children really don't understand what they are feeling most of the time and being able to help someone understand that it is OK to feel helpless is one of the best things you can do for them. This can prevent children from becoming mean or rude adults because the things you learn at a young age stick with you throughout your life. You could be the person that saves or keeps someone from substance abuse, bullying others, or even suicide. I thing that lawyers are very important but most end crossing a line or making a decision they will always regret. That is actually the reason I decided I don't want to be a lawyer. However, it is ultimately your decision but I hope this helps you decide. What type of lawyer are you interested in becoming?
I just wish that someone had been able to help a friend of mine. Suicide is serious and can be prevented just by being willing to listen to how someone is feeling. Good luck on your decision!

I think you could be a criminal therapist, if that helps anything. There's a lot of overlap between psychology (and possibly the other things), so that may be something to look at rather than just focusing on one detail. Take all classes and see what you like, and maybe go from there :)
