Will not taking a hard enough courses freshman and sophomore yr ruin admissions

Hi I go to a really competitive high school(junior) and I was looking at naviance scattergrams and the result for even my targets was discouraging to say the least, my schools average to get into uiuc is a weighted 4.6 and I currently have a 4.22 due to have a mostly college prep course load but this year I am taking 4 aps and 2 honors classes, so I could possibly have a 4.36 if all a’s. But my question is will this ruin admissions chances for a civil engineering major even if I have done research, or am I just being dramatic?
