Hey! I am currently a High school Junior. I am wondering if I have a chance to get into NYU.
Here is a brief overview of my projected resume:
GPA: 4.0 unweighted
AP: 6
Dual Credit/Honors: 5
-4 year member of the varsity choir
-3 year member of the elite acapella group
-3 year Choir Officer
-Made All-State Choir (2 times)
-2 year varsity theater member
-3 year varsity theater officer
-Won best Rookie Actor
-National Qualify Thespian
-Member of ITS
-Attended Texas Thespian Convention
- 3 Year Model UN Officer (training chair, secretary)
-3 year NHS member
-Co-founder of Black Student Union

Academically, I think you have a very good chance of having a strong application at your point of applying to an American college. Extracurricular, I'm not so sure. But, I don't mean this negatively. It's just that getting involved in some activities is looking like they are;t enough. It may be too much to ask due to the Community Guidelines but the best advice I can give you is to play very active parts of communities you are still a part of and look for active parts you played in previously held offices.
