Does the Questbridge scholarships go to community college?
Answered

Hello!

My high school counselor recommended that I apply for the Questbridge Match Scholarship. Although I am curious, I heard that if you match schools you HAVE to go with one of them. While I have colleges in mind, I've been considering community college first before transferring to university. Would the scholarship still apply? Or would I have to look somewhere else? Could I still apply anyway just in case, and if I change my mind I can reject it?

I just was researching it. I think you have to go straight from highschool to the university, but you'd get the same credits by just going to university, and with the scholarship it's free. I do not believe the scholarship would still apply for community college/transfer credits. I also don't think you can reject if you're accepted, except to MIT.

(Also, I didn't know that this scholarship existed, so thank you, I'm applying next year lol)
