how test scores affect grades

Hey all,

I recently got a 73 on my test in a subject where my overall was an 83. How would this affect my grades in the future and how can I maintain and increase them? As this is a bad grade I've gotten this year, it might bring down my GPA.

Hi there! When it comes to standing out with your GPA, you'll want to aim for mostly A's, because these will keep your GPA in the 3.8+ range. If you get mostly B's, your looking at a GPA that's about 3.3. You should decide what kind of GPA you want to aim for based on the standards of the colleges your looking at applying for, because if your main college(s) are mostly taking in students with B averages, then there's no need to stress out about getting all A's if you don't want to or need to.
