Admissions Advice

Should I apply EA?

I would like to apply EA to at Georgia Tech, however, it has been brought to my concern that I'm not competitive. I’ve got a 1280 SAT, 1 leadership position(hopefully another one soon), and 3 awards: AP Scholar, Georgia Merit Scholar, and National African American Recognition Program. I’m taking an online course for maximizing my essay and application in general. However I still am a bit stuck on what I should do.

As an in-state applicant you have a big advantage, especially if you're applying early. Don't put your energy into worrying about your stats, instead put your energy into writing your Georgia Tech essay because it's just as important.
